Engendering collaborative accessibility through tourism: From barriers to bridges

This article challenges dominant assumptions about disability and accessibility in tourism adopts a relational perspective to explore how collaborative can emerge through interpersonal interdependencies. We used polyphonic vignettes weave the personal stories of 17 people into two situated micronarratives that capture dynamic relations between with without visual impairments. Our findings suggest dependence on others, responsibility for confidence one's own abilities relation others' interests collective experiencing enable or constrain agencies those involved. discussion stakeholders leverage these interdependencies engender inform future disability-inclusive approaches research practise.
